In formulating my these this week, I was distraught to find a lack of information on my topic of choice. "Genetically enhanced foods are contributing to the early sexual developement and maturation of pre teens". I just have a gut feeling about this that all the growth hormones are not being eliminated by cooking and are being re-synthasized in our bodies. Especially young people. Something has to explain how an 8 year old child becomes pregnant.
Since that didn't work out I am working on a new thesis on the effects of meat foods that are pumped full of antibiotics and their effect on human health. Reseach has shown me that over 19 million pounds of antibiotics go into pigs, chickens, and beef that are headed for our dinner table. You say, fine, oh I beg to differ. The very same antibiotics going to the feed troughs of America are the very same that doctors are using to fight infections. Guess what? The doctors are not having any success treating certain infections with those same antibiotics. Have we outsmarted ourselves in the medical industry as well as economically? What do you think?
