Hi Everyone,
Wow, I can't believe we are done with this term. In some ways it flew by too quickly. I am very thankful that by the grace of God and Mrs. G., I actually survived this class. I still have all the swelling and some of the rash from the drug reaction, but have felt better today than I have in a month. These drug reactions are no joke. I wish I had been able to do a better job with everything the last couple of weeks. If nothing else has been gained, I value my health and life more than ever.
My son called today. He is at Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida studing to be a game designer. This school is very expensive and very intense. He has classes in 8 hour sessions and usually it is 2 subjects a month. Last night his truck was broken into and his $4,000.00 laptop was stolen and his backpack. Not only is it his computer but a whole years worth of work gone....zilch...zippo! I am so thankful it was his truck and not him. A month ago a young man was crossing the school parking lot when he was approached by a guy who wanted his laptop. The young man said no, and the guy shot him. This has happened twice with the shooting thing. I am so thankful my son was in his apartment asleep when these guys broke into his truck. Please keep my son in your prayers for protection and that he can re-create his work.
God bless you and yours.

week nine
Hi everyone1
This has been a nightmare with my drug allergies and medical probems for the past 3-4 weeks. Everytime I think I am back on track and doing better, something else bites me. I had a major reaction to lamictal and swelled up like a bullfrog, you know the no neck syndrome accompanied with a wild rash, breathing issues, and swelling of the face, lips, and tongue. When I checked this stuff out on the internet....people can die from the reaction, so I really freaked out. Nope, I am really not ready to go yet... The really bazarre part of this is there is only a .08% of people that are allergic to this stuff. Guess what? I fall into that minute percentage of weirdos.
Needless to say, I don't feel good about my paper at all. When I have felt good enough to work on it, I am having a really hard time focusing and not changing everything 5 times. If I make it through this class, it will be a bonified miracle.
Yes, I do believe!
I have enjoyed all you guys and the professor in this class and hope to meet you again some day. Thanks for all the encouragement and support along the way. God bless you and yours!

Wow! Week 8 is here
Hi Everyone!
These weeks are flying by so fast. I almost don't have time to catch my breath these days.
Today I helped give out commodities at the local Enrichment Center. It was my first time and I really enjoyed it. We gave food to 414 families in our county. It is really a worthwhile program and does a lot of good. The food comes from the Second Harvest Association and commodities from USDA. With jobs and income so scarce in this county(Randolph) we want more families to take advantage of this. More people sign up every month.
This weeks assignment is giving me an opportunity to "put on my thinking cap", it's been so long since I've had to think about verbs and such. I know this exercise will make a better paper in the end and probably make me a better writter. I don't know why I have such a block going on with English. I think my son inherited my dispensation of English as well.
Hope all of you are having a great week 8.

Degree Bound: Degree Bound
Hello all!!
Can you believe this is week 7 already. 10 weeks always sounds like such a long term, but it flies by so fast. I have to really work at it to keep up with each week's assignments to stay afloat.
I hope all of you are doing great with the paper. I have had some setbacks, but seem to be getting back on track this weekend.
I am looking forward to finishing this term, there has been so much going on from death and sickness to buying a vehicle and moving. Just a little to much on my plate these days, but I will make it.
You guys are great and much luck to you in all!!

Oh eee Oh Oh!
Well, this week is starting out with a bang. I started in the ER first thing Labor Day morning. No happy holiday here. Sick, Sick, Sick!!! I wish someone could get my medication straightened out. This is awful.
I have spent yesterday and today resting and doing homework as a rotating schedule. It seems I am having a great deal of trouble with the whole assignment this week. Meds can sure mess you up!
I hope everyone else is doing great and had a great holiday!!

unit 6 and flying
Hello! I have certainly had issues these last two weeks. 5 deaths, one suicide, and itching/nerve episode and now blood pressure problems. I am still blessed no matter what it looks like.
Now, I worked on my new outline, although I like the one I did last week much better. I seem to be having trouble getting all the information is one paragraph style. Is anyone else having a problem with this? I'm also still trying how to get this blog thing right. Here the term is almost over and I certainly have not mastered the basics of bloggin.
